    I have fibromyalgia, what now?

Rachel you have Fibromyalgia said my Rheumatologist last week. I had been told by my Physio and Osteopath that I have been presenting with Fibromyalgia type symptoms for a while now so there was no big surprise. Still it was a shock to hear. I have been suffering with back pain for around 12 years. Over this time it has become steadily worse to the point where the pain is nearly every day especially with my back and hips. About 6 months ago I started getting aches and pains in my ankles and feet, then it started in my knees and legs, now the aches have started in the palms…

Do I really know what I want for 2020 career wise

My last post was me focusing on a change of career in 2020. I was adamant that I wanted out of being a Teaching Assistant. I wanted a full time administrative role that would see me earning more money. I don’t want to be a Teaching Assistant anymore, there is no career progress, I do not want to be a Teacher or a Higher Level Teaching Assistant. How my mind works, how my body works. I see what I am doing as making positive life choices that will stay with me for years to come.  I’m…

What I am thankful for November 2019

I can’t believe how quickly November went by. I always find November to be a quick month, I think it’s because I am already Christmas shopping and preparing for December. November was still a month to create some memories and a time to be grateful.  The beautiful colours that the leaves change to. I have a tree outside my house that produces some beautiful coloured leaves. The sunsets I can see at the back of my house most evenings. The colours can be gorgeous. The extension. We have been having friends over more often and having the extra space downstairs had made such a difference to out living space. Miss…
