What I am thankful for in February 2020

Where on earth did February go! Only 10 months left until Christmas though! With the weather the way it is it certainly feels wintery now doesn’t it!

I have found an app on my android phone called ‘presently’, it allows me to type in what I am thankful for every day. It also allows me to look back on previous days to see what I have written to remind myself if ever I am feeling a bit meh.

I haven’t taken many photo’s this month weirdly, normally I am very snap happy.

I was talking to a colleague at work who is quite a happy lady in general, we were talking about feelings and she said to me ‘life is not a dress rehearsal, enjoy each day while you can’. This words have stuck with me.

Here are 6 things I am thankful for in February,

  1. ย Finding the app called ‘presently’
  2. ย I have started making puddings. I am a terrible cook but I have managed to make a peach and berry crumble and can I just say, I had empty bowls returned to me!
  3. ย I found two crystal websites thanks to Instagram. I do love crystals!
  4. ย I went to a holistic show in Chessington Surrey with a friend of mine, that was a really good experience and I brought some more crystals, as you do ๐Ÿ™‚
  5. ย Laura Summer’s from Laura’s Lovely Blog. She has helped me with a few techy blog admin things that I was and still am quite clueless about. There are just somethings I have never understood when it comes to analytics and stuff.
  6. Half term. My kids and I really needed half term. We were all seriously exhausted. We haven’t done much during half term which we all benefitted from.

How was your February?

Presently is an app that allows you to note down like a mini journal what you am thankful for. It saves it automatically so you can look back and see what you have previously written down. I love family time ๐Ÿ™‚

Lovely idea for a post! During February I was thankful for the good deals that I managed to get, bring able to catsit my in-laws’cat, and discovering that I can listen to audiobooks (as long as they are non-fiction).

Sounds like a great February! I haven’t listened to an audio book before, I bet that’s quite nice before bed, no more tired eyes trying to read ๐Ÿ™‚

What a lovely, positive post. I’ve started using a gratitude journal and being encouraged to start and end each day with positive thoughts has made a huge difference to me. I’d really love to hear more about your crystals! I love them so it would be cool to see your collection.

I love this idea of reminding ourselves to be thankful for everyday little things. I was so looking forward to half term and had loads planned but was so ill with the flu I had to get family to help look after the kids and spent the whole time feeling sorry for myself. I however am grateful for the fact I have so many lovely people around me who are happy to help
